Birmingham FEI Cluster Group

The FEI recognises Forest Schools that have:

• The support of the local FEI Cluster Group
• The support of the England FEI co-ordinator
• A local woodland setting and links to the learner's community
• Leaders who are CRB checked, trained in or training for Forest School qualifications (Btech and OCN) and with appropriate First Aid qualification
• On-going ecological impact assessments of the Forest School site and activities
• An up-to-date Health and Safety manual including guidelines on child protection, emergency procedures, risk assessments and equipment
• Commitment to external reviews and sharing of best practice within the network
